Marija s-Sabiħa

A twenty minute music film that tells the story of 'Marija l-Mostija' (Maria from Mosta). This song, by No Bling Show, combines hard-hitting rap with the lament-like quality of Għana (folk singing) and speaks of a teenage girl raised in an orphanage, who falls under the seductive wiles of Tony, the grounds keeper. With fine words and subtle charm, he convinces her that he may in fact be Christ himself.

Currently touring international film festivals this is some of the finest work produced by Take 2 to date.

What I'd Give

Winner of the Malta Music awards 'Best Music Video' award 2013, the 'What I'd Give' video developed and filmed for Ira Losco's Summer 2012 single, was filmed on location across Malta and was a great opportunity for the Take2 creative team to experiment with brand new technology and lighting techniques. The highly stylized production became an instant sensation, through its innovative qualities, technical excellence and fresh approach.

Stick No Bills

In line with the now well-established narrative style of music video, Footprints' 'Stick No Bills' video tells the story of a man's descent into and possible recovery from heroin addiction. It follows the protagonist inhabiting parallel worlds which are brought to life by the choices he makes. Once again this hard hitting music video allowed the team to explore new styles and break new ground

"Hip-Hop / Għana video becomes online sensation"

Luċija u Samwel

Produced back in 2011, 'Luċija and Samwel' was the fist collaboration between Take2 and the Maltese band No Bing Show. Filmed in a magical realist style, the video tells the story of Luċija and Samwel, a teenage couple who attempt to escape the oppressive reality of their small town lives in a cavalcade of sex, drug abuse and eventual crime. Applauded for both its daring theme and artistic qualities, the video became a local overnight sensation clocking over 100,000 YouTube hits in its first weeks, and went on to win the 'Best Music Video' award at the 2011 edition of the Malta Music Awards.

"Whilst being on set I could kind of almost put my finger maybe sort of on the magnitude of this project, in reality nothing on God's green Earth could prepare me for what I finally saw at the first screening. Luċija u Samwel managed to capture Malta's current drug and street culture on film, this depicted a whole new world none of us had ever set foot in. An experience for which my gratitude knows no bounds."

"Thank you for the professional way in which the Take2 team has managed the filming, editing and production of our Music Video 'Stick No Bills'. As a band (Footprints) together with Aġenzija Sedqa and Aġenzija Żgħażagħ are very happy with the final result of the music video and it was very enjoyable working under the direction of Take2 for this video. Many thanks for this."

"Working with Take2 was a lot of fun, but was also a breath of fresh air. They are professional and above all they listen to the brief and deliver 100%. I'm very happy with what was a big step in my career, launching my first single from my most important album to date"

"I think working with Take2 was the smartest move for this project. The level of dedication is unparalleled and their total commitment towards understanding what we wanted to convey in our music unrivaled. Above all, it's the team's vision that gives them the virtue of braving new ground each and every time they embark on a new journey. 5 stars (out of a possible 2)."
